💯 why some people are Jeeper haters. I can’t tell you how many times I see this. Why?

My guess is the driver was going to park perfectly until he suddenly noticed the little red sign in the window. He panicked and knew he had to abandon the stolen Jeep and run.

I thought white claw was an energy drink and drank 4 on my way there, then couldn’t see straight.

Just know that, even being a Jeep owner, that rudeness and inconsideration deserves a love note etched by a nail on the hood or gently slide a not through the hole in the canvas top that suddenly appears. But that is how I role.....

those blingy high-poke wheels make it pretty clear what type of person we're likely dealing with.

I am not an "off roader" I purchased our Rubicon X just because I like the Jeep. I park crooked if I can't find a spot way at the end of the lot because disrespectful people park next to us and ding our doors.

i hope you meant "I park crooked AND way at the end of the lot"; otherwise it might be you that's being disrespectful (like the example pictured at the beginning of this thread).

while my J**ps have never been one of them, i've had those cars that get parked sideways under a cover; the far end of the lot is the only place for that sort of behavior, and even then only if there's enough spaces that not all the spots get used during the day.
ironically, i've found that after a while, sometimes other pride-of-ownership vehicles wind up getting parked out there as well, arguably diminishing the value of the exercise... but i figure if they're also going to make the effort to park out there, they're probably taking care of others vehicles as they would want people taking care with theirs.

I'm curious what motivates this.

Is it, "I simple don't give a crap about others and seeing if I'm within the confines of a single parking spot?"

Is it, "I'm in a rush/I'll only be a minute and can't afford the time to check if I've parked between the lines?"

Is it, "parking in two spots increases the chances that another vehicle won't clip me?"

Is it, "so what, there are plenty of spots despite the fact that I am taking up two?"

Something else?

If I see that 'round these parts, the offenders are usually driving overbaked pickup trucks. Once in a blue moon I'll see a gray hair (or more usually, a no-hair) guy in a Corvette do the same.

I did take a photo of these two dopes because of their Fails despite the painted lines making it painfully simple to get it right.

Another opinion, based upon some forensic investigation of the site -- If the Gladiator pulled in to park, and there was a vehicle in the spot to the left which was over its designated area, it would have forced the Gladiator over to the right, the position you see it in now. Furthermore, another vehicle pulling in next to the Gladiator, to its right, would have then been forced to be over and out of his designated spot, thus forcing the Wrangler, the vehicle which pulled in after the vehicle to his left (now vacant), pushed over to his right in order to clear the driver door and allow egress.
This occurs frequently in parking lots. Forest Gump starts a chain reaction and everyone else receives the blame.

maybe when he/she parked there was someone parked over the line on either side of him/her....or maybe a delivery person had stuff taking up part of the parking spot....I guess one of life's great mysteries...

He was pulling in to park but his axel lock sensor failed ( not an uncommon occurrence) and therefore he had unexpected resistance when turning into the space. Fortunately he has an extended warranty
