I received an email from my dealer confirming the build date of 12/16 and a ship date of 12/20. He expects it to take 4-6 weeks to get to the dealer in ID. So maybe a late Xmas present.

I'm not convinced Jeep Chat is even a real person on the line most of the time. That exchange looks like it's with a bot.

Checked on my build on JeepChat today. In "D" status. :(

Order placed 11/18/19
last six of VIN 225580

I wasn't expecting it to be something else, but one can dream.

When did you order yours? What is the last 6 digits of your vin? Wondering where I may be at.

I think I was first and JLURD as next followed by you.

I asked Jeep Chat awhile ago what the build criteria was and they had no clue. I see some folks here you have ordered after we did who are already in paint or nearing shipping. Maybe it comes down to the color you are looking at, and they are doing all the Sing Gray for the next few days and then shifting to black. Who knows.

I checked EPA website this morning and still no fuel economy numbers. Maybe Jeep is going to release them without the numbers. I would think as long as the engines are EPA and CARB certified, the economy numbers are less important.

My dealer indicated 4-6 weeks to go from OH to ID, that makes for one very slow train.

Will be very interesting to see these actually start showing up.

Best of luck to you and your new toy.

Thanks for letting me know. Painting could be it. I check the EPA site everyday, as a matter of fact I have it up on my computer and just refresh it. Are you able to get the Window Sticker for your build? If you can does it have any MPG numbers on it? I just recently totaled my truck and can't wait to get my new toy.

I have not tried to see the window sticker. I did not know it was possible to see it before the Jeep show up. Do you know if there is a way to see it during the building process? I know mine is not set to start building until Monday, 12/16.

Tom,

Thanks for the link. Just checked and no window sticker available yet. I will continue to check and let you know if/when it changes.
