Hard to say if I'm in it for the long haul. I don't usually keep vehicles for more than 5 or 6 years. But that being said, I ordered this Wrangler for what I wanted. Except for the first couple miles on this thing I know the history of my Jeep. Just hit 10000 today after 14 months and love this one better than the rest of them. It rides better. More elbow room. More ground clearance without lifting. And there's always something special about a new vehicle as apposed to someone else's hand-me-down. It's a second vehicle so not a daily driver so it's better taken care of....soooo it's a definite maybe....lol

This is my first Jeep, 2020 JL and I love it. I get it rust protected because that is usually what deems how long I keep a vehicle, sometimes the rust wins - hopefully not this time because I'd like to keep it forever. Got a new bumper and winch, hopefully will get that on soon. Hate the factory grannie bumper.

I’ve never kept a vehicle more than three years… but the JL being my 50th Bday present, I am hoping to make it a permanent fixture here… at least until I can’t drive it anymore. We’ll have to see if it can outlast me!

I have to admit I rarely keep any vehicle for more than 2-3 years; not proud of this, just the truth. I get bored easily.
me and you both. My wife calls me a car whore. Although I do love my rubicon, I’d love to trade it for a 392 if they weren’t so expensive

I’m keeping mine until it dies, then I’ll stuff an LS engine under the hood. Or maybe a Cummins 4BT.

I love Jeeps, have always wanted an orange vehicle, and have one of a very few Punk’n Recons.

I will confess to having a moment when my husband sold his Boxster. I do miss that car and the fun trips to the coast.

I change my vehicles every 1.5-3 years. My first Jeep was 2019 JL rubicon unlimited. Loved it but got bored, and was a handful to drive on long roadtrips. Sold the jeep and got a 21 toyota trd pro 4runner, way better on highway long hauls.

However when I heard Jeep dropped a v8, and hybrid. I had to try both, have both on order. Who knows how long those will stay in stable. I get bored quickly.

Owned mine since I bought it new in 2008. Every year gets better and better but I enjoy hanging onto her. Being the original owner after all this time has a certain appeal to it. So who intends to own theirs for the long haul? Makes no difference to me if you like a new one every year or not so no judgments from me. In fact I totally understand since they get better and better? So are you a long hauler, do you like to trade in frequently? Why? Just making conversation.
Jeeps are super expensive here in Australia and I've wanted one my whole life, so I custom ordered (which most Aussies don't do) and waited 11 long months to receive my dream car.
I don't plan on ever getting rid of my Juno. I'm completely in love with him :involve:

haven't been able to get rid of my '94 J**p yet, even though i've had a few German cars and some other stuff in the meantime,...
the way things are going, i'll be worn out before my latest J**p is.

When I purchased mine in 2018 they sold me the Mopar unlimited lifetime warranty, which I thought was a good idea in a recently updated vehicle. Looking back (and forward) I realize I’ve been given a gift, as I now have the opportunity to keep this for the long haul. My wife and I have talked about how it could be our daughters when she’s 16… which is crazy. And I’ve never owned a vehicle more than 7-8 years.

My user name says it all - 300K06TJ. 2nd owner and just turned 310,000 miles (that's almost 1/2 million kms!) Engine has never been redone, it just keep running. 4.0 inline 6 is a very stout engine. I like things that last.

We thought we'd trade in our F150 when it turned 10 in 2019 but we still have it. I don't think the Jeep's going anywhere any time soon either.

My 4xe is still new, but the plan is to keep it long term. It replaced another vehicle with 230K miles on it. We keep vehicles until they no longer make sense. This one makes sense and it is FUN!
