Afternoon everyone,

I have a 21 wrangler ecodiesel I bought brand new and now it has 25,000 miles on it. I still haven't brought to dealer for the fuel pump recall because I don't really trust that they will fix anything...... Ive had zero issues with the jeep. It has the banks derringer and pedalmonster combo which is cool. But I will be doing a weight loss program sooner than later and freeing up the exhaust system / breathing ability of engine.

How is everyone else's ecodiesels doing? Anyone out there with really high mileage? Anyone get the fuel pump recall taken care of?

I also have a 2021. I just turned over 48k miles on it. I had the fuel pump recall done about 10k miles ago. I lifted it and put 37's on it with about 4k miles on it. The jeep has been solid. It has been in twice for the locker sensor replacement and for a coolant overflow replacement all under warranty. It is not a daily driver, it's primary use is for camping, exploring, and rock crawling. Just got back from winter 4x4 jamboree in Sand Hollow.

62k on mine! Has always run very well. I have had an oil leak at the crank shaft that has been done 2x now.

I see alot of highway miles and the diesel seems to love the road a much as the trail!

i've got twice the mileage on my '21, and it's on it's 3rd HPFP.

the current one was replaced under the recall, replacing the one that went in under warranty when the original failed at 4100 miles.

i'd recommend get yours replaced under the Recall. when my original pump failed, it was just like it shut off; there was no warning, no lights, and it just wouldn't start after that.
unless that sounds like your idea of fun, i'd let them put in whatever they're replacing them with just to make sure you have the latest.

Really hope you don’t go through with a delete.

i should also mention that when my original pump failed, everything that touched fuel needed to be replaced except for the fuel tank, which needed a very specific cleaning process.

getting the teplacement CP4 took almost no time.
what took months to get was some of the other bits like a couple of tubes and the Fuel Pump/Level Unit Module Kit.

unless you like the idea of your EcoD collecting dust for months while waiting on some stupid little part that needs to be replaced when it’s contaminated by the HPFP failing, just let them fix it under the recall.

I bought a 2nd hand ecodiesel. 2020 rubicon. 90k miles, but 42k when purchased.

The hpfp was already replaced, saw the sticker under the hood.

But I still use hotshots, just not as much. Few times a month now.
