Who else is patiently waiting

Just called the dealer for an update, he said the vehicle has a VIN but hasn't been shipped yet! No idea how often they send a boat to Australia. The original paperwork had estimated delivery of mid July, so I assume this is still possible but not holding out.

Mine took 28 days to get shipped after VIN.
Currently mine is on a ship for 31 days so far, hasn't yet arrived in Australia. It is currently off the coast of NZ.

I feel for you guys.
I am in Canada and the wait here is an average of 5 months to 8 months.
So some of you are getting your jeeps faster than we are.
I have waited for 4 months so far and the dealer has no info for me.

So mine arrived in AU, Port Kembla, so this is the latest timing:

Took many months to get a VIN.
Took 28 days to get shipped after VIN.
Arrives in Port Kembla 39 days after shipping. Ship goes to Brisbane first, then Port Kembla, then Melbourne.

I'm told it takes another 7-14 days (if all goes well) to be at the dealer for pickup.

It finally arrived after 8 months from initial order . Now is probably a good time to put in the order for the replacement for the next model

That looks like Castle Hill, I'm guessing that Black Rubicon behind it is my original order arriving as well!!! I'm glad I didn't wait Oh and congrats

I thought that was yours too. I asked Leslie about it and he said that yours arrived before and this was a different one.

Dealer called today and said ours was on the water and due in to Sydney roughly 25th July, it was built some time in April with a March order, they said it would be another 2-4 weeks once it gets here, so not too far off your dates.

Current wording of the stay at home rules:

A reasonable excuse is if you need to:
...obtain food or other goods and services
...in your local government area, within 10km of your home, if reasonably practicable but not if to do so means that you would enter a local government area of concern (from the start of Monday 16 August 2021, a 5km rule will apply).

If your dealer is outside 5km but not within an LGA of concern, and to give effect to the words "reasonably practicable", I'm guessing it should be okay... Best bet is to contact the dealer, the authorities and your lawyer.

Only a couple of months in and finally gave into the modding. Just installed the Bestop Sunrider today and loving the look! The top took about 3 weeks to ship from US to NSW. Now, back on my way to bankruptcy...

Yep the 2021 JLUR with the optional steel bar option have a forward facing cam as well Works really well.

Collected! Super busy day so not the best picture.

Grabbed it and drove home, not had chance to check it out. I only noticed when I got it home they included the wrong alloys as we paid for the upgrade!
