Who actually takes their JL offroad?

That's the first time I've ever heard that, and I've been reading off-road forums for a long time.

Tacoma TRD pro comes with a "snorkel" as an option from factory too. If you read their press release on that it says it's an air intake for driving on dusty roads and not meant to be used for deep water fording.

Love it buddy. It's getting late this year for me to visit. Planning to go next year. Any ideas on how much it is to get an over sand pass?

10 day passes for Cape Hatteras National Seashore are $50. The seashore is quite long and has a ton of ramps as well as places to air up if you are like me and your Viair 88p died on the first day of vacation (smfh).

There are other places that require a permit to park (Corolla), or restrict driving to “off season” (I think parts of Nags Head, don’t quote me on that).

Was going to hit the dirt today, but figured I’d check before heading out and every National Forest around is closed due to the fires. Luckily no active fire near us, just lingering haze and smoke for the past week. A friend of ours drove from LA to Sedona so he could ride his mtn bike. Stay safe...

I picked my JLUR up 9 days ago ad have almost 170 miles just in the dirt of the High Desert. It is my daily driver and I’m not trying to drive up Goat trails, but I get out in the desert to have fun. Yes it’s a $50,000 vehicle, but it’s a JEEP! If anyone is is near the High Desert and wants to wheel, hit me up!
