Going to Arkansas on Saturday to pick up our new Punk'n Orange JL...pretty excited! We live in Southern Utah and there are a FEW places to ride...like Moab...lol, We've always been adventurous and always had something for the dirt. I don't plan on beating the crap out of this unit, we have a Honda Pioneer and a 1984 Cherokee (90k ORIGINAL miles) with lockers so I see no need to prove anything in this rig.

That's some good looking Off-Roading going on there. Where is that and how can i get some?
These are random places in KY. Red River Gorge, Dirty Turtle, and Blue Holler. All good riding. Could spend a week in the gorge area and not see it all.

I certainly use mine! I didn't buy it to keep it pristine. I don't want damage but understand it comes with the territory. Use it and enjoy it!

I could tell you, but then....
I’m never going to give mine the Lite Brite treatment, and not much into heavy crawling, but beaches, mountains, trails, etc. absolutely. You’ll pucker a bit the first few times but it gets better and it’s loads of fun. Mines my daily as well and well suited for both uses.

Took our 19' JLUR to Moab last October with 5000 on the clock. Spent 8 days on the trails and had a blast. Admittedly, didn't do anything to gnarly with the new ride.

Yup. Picked mine up January 2019 and it was at the Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree in March after a little shake down action at Hidden Falls in February. Mine is a DD and I drive it to/from adventures so yeah, I’m not always going for the hardest obstacles. I’m more careful than I think I would be if I knew there was a trailer at camp.

I normally hit Moab in August, and was planning on going in November as well. This would have been my first year there in the JL. I'm sad I'm missing it.

I have a 2019 4 door Rubicon that I got last year for the family to enjoy on the weekends. We gone to a few state parks but mainly rider around town. I have a 2 door 13 Rubicon on 37" that is setup as a pretty legit rock crawler. I've met a group of guys that go to a Jeep "badge trail" once a month or so and actually ride. We've scuffed up some paint, hardtops, bent a driveshaft or 2 and for sure scraped up some wheels. I've noticed their 4 doors go up steep, wet rocky inclines better than my short bus and that's got me looking for a 4 door to wheel. My question is, how do yall feel about actually off-roading your 1 year old 50K JL?

I know I can take the top off, get some skids and go to town, but I know I will eventually back up into a tree. Slide off a wet rock and scratch up/ dent some stuff. Just curious how many actually do this or am I nuts?
May have had 400 miles on the 2020 when this pic was taken at Hidden Falls.
"She's a street queen, never seen dirt" if FCA is asking...lol

I got a mopar paint /cc pen in my glove box. I mean, why buy a Rubicon if you're not going to give it natural pin stripes?

I have been off roading and trail riding around Leota/Harrison for about 30 years. We often camp along the high banks of the Muskegon river west of Leota. Many times we drop on the trails at Harrison and run trails all the way to St. Helens. I have dirt biked, ATVed, SxSed, snowmobiled and of course Jeeped that area.

I also guide Jeep trail rides of the area many weekends a year. All season.
We were at the high banks just this past weekend ! The food at the Trails End Pub is always great. Maybe see you on the trails sometime. Look for a dark grey 2dr Rubicon with Ohio plates.
