Yes. Always. Ranging from Glock 42 or 43 to G26 to G30S, depending on how tight my pants are on any given day. Because ... you never really need a pistol till you really need a pistol.

Only when camping or wheeling somewhere more remote. Typically like to do a lot of backcountry camping, and have had some unfortunate run-ins with strangers, which is a total shame. I'm an Asian guy, and my casual observation is that there aren't as many Asians out on the trails. I don't consider myself to have an ounce of "pride" over race (because I think it's a pretty stupid thing to be proud of), but have had some folks make some pretty unfriendly comments (like snickering while asking, "shouldn't you be driving a Toyota or Kia or something?") out there. This makes my girlfriend (who is white) pretty nervous, and I'd be lying if I said I never thought about them sneaking up on our camp later at night to cause more trouble.

Mine's a S&W 686 Plus 4". Don't consider myself a firearm enthusiast at all; I just want something that'll shoot every time in an emergency situation.

I'm gonna say it again, since mentioning race online tends to come off as immediately divisive: I have zero notion of race "pride" or loyalty. My whole off-roading crew (and my social circle) is a very mixed bag of racial and ethnic backgrounds. I only mention it because others have chosen to use my skin color as a reason to target me specifically out there. Shrug.
Sorry to hear about your bad experiences. There are still a few folks like that out and about, unfortunately. Excellent choice in a camping gun by the way.

I am a liberal, but I do occasionally carry in my Jeep, usually when I go off-road or super rural area. Wife does it too.

I carry Sig P226, while wife does S&W 22.

I’ve seen various hints in many threads that make references to firearms. So I’m curious: how many of you carry a weapon, open or concealed, in your Jeep?

I’ll start. My answer is “yes, always.” My EDC is a SA XDm .45 cal, concealed.

If you are anti-gun, please don’t shy away from posting. Your opinions are valid too.
Yup..always w/ me ..almost everywhere

Always. XDS 9mm w/9 round mag and 7 extra mags in center console. I work in downtown Dallas and there has been a shooting almost everyday for the last few months.

I carry, period. The Jeep piece of this question is a little silly to anyone who carries. I am sorry if that comes across harsh.

Always carry. Depends on where I am going and what I am wearing.
Glock, 19, 23, 32, or 42, Kimber Crimson Compact Carry II, PSA 300 Blackout Pistol with a folding stock and maybe an AR-15.

I’m have my CHL in Oregon, Utah and Arizona and I am always carrying anywhere I am legal to do so. I have many sidearms to choose from depending on where I’m going.

Sig 9mm kept in car always.

As a part time musician traveling sometimes long distances very late at night I find a bit reassuring to know in the event of problems on the road I at least have 1 more layer of protection.

Unless you are a LEO and your Jeep friends are LEOs, the whole point of carrying concealed is not to tell anyone. Not even in a survey.

Yes, I carry. But not to protect my family. My wife can take care of herself. She carries, too. We're both retired LEOs with CCW and HR 218.

You're an enthusiast, all right. The 686 Plus is in my opinion the finest-looking, sweetest shooting piece out there. Excellent choice.
