"Jeep better watch out. I don’t care how tough the Wrangler is; it’s still not comfortable on the highway."

That depends entirely on which way the wind is blowing...

I had a pretty strong crosswind driving to the hanger, gusts nearing 40... That's not very fun, the Jeep kept wanting to change lanes and had to actively steer to keep it centered.

Here in Colorado, Subarus are good for speeding/tailgating in the right lane, which is kind of ironic when you think about the stereotypical Subie owner.

Hmm... interesting. As a supplement to the Jeep, yeah I can see having some fun in that thing. But as a replacement? Hell no!!!

Sold my 2013 Stage 2 modded WRX for a 2021 JLU. I miss the race car everyday but I do not regret my purchase.

Had a Subaru Forester that we drove for 6 years. Not a bad vehicle, at all. But 4 years ago, sold it to buy a '17 Renegade Trailhawk. The Rene is much more capable and a lot more fun to drive.

Then, just last month, took delivery of my new 2021 JL80th 2 dr. Now, that's a Jeep.

I'm not overly impressed by auto "journalist's" opinions on vehicles, in general. Mostly, they seem to rave about nearly any new model that's hitting the pavement. It's what they're paid to do; hype the auto industry.

I, for one, like the thing. I have a soft spot for station wagons though.

Not a replacement for a Wrangler, but for what it is, it's pretty nice. I loved my 2015 WRX 6 speed. Like most have said, I don't fit in with "Subi drivers," but I won't discount a vehicle because of stereotypes either...

This thing needs a 6 speed manual though. Gonna be a hard pass on the CVT.

On a side note, Jalopnik has really changed over the years... I used to read their stuff all the time, I had to stop. Some of the new contributors/articles have been so disappointing....
