White wax marks on fenders how to remove

Anybody have any issues with getting wax on their plastic fenders that leaves white marks? Anybody able to remove them them? Thanks

Strangely, Armor All does it. Though I wouldn't recommend it. I use 3M Plastic and Vinyl Restorer. Same concept as Armor All, but without the damaging stuff. It also doesn't make everything shiny, just black. Make sure you buff after application or the rain will wash it onto your paint...that's not a terrible thing, it just looks bad.

I'm subscribing to see if anyone has a better method.

For next time, there’s new waxes that don’t leave residue like that. I’m using Turtle Wax Ice for example.

If you want something you can pick up locally - try Mother's Back to Black Cleaner (not the protectant). The cleaner is a gel and actually works really well. For a nice deep black look without shine and grease, try 303, works great and you can buy it locally.

Try an eraser.

Peanut Butter and a soft toothbrush will remove the wax marks. 303 Protectant will help prevent them.

Does that really work? I figured the internet was lying when I’ve seen this before but I’ve never tried it myself lol
