got the white walled patagonias. Need to clean them though. Scraped one on a rock and the white is peeling off in one spot.

I say no to white walls on a JL, but white lettering is just fine.

I’m a white letters out fan. Even though they screwed the pooch installing my tires on my 2 door, I wanted the white out but was in a hurry and let it go. Now I’m too lazy to have them swapped. Lol
I also think they are wheel dependent. Here’s my 4 door with factory wheels with 37s and aftermarket wheels. I think the factory wheels looked better white out, than the Methods.

greetings from chilly western massachusetts...anyone consider white walls out during a lift build? i have 35 inch general grabbers (love them), shop put white walls in w out asking. think i’m going to switch them ($100/ not too painful) for a cool retro look. any photos out there w white walls out??

White letters out - YES.

White WALLS out - NO. It takes a special build or old school luxury ride or pre-1960s restoration to rock those.

Opinions may vary.

funny! was waiting for someone to post actual white walls even tho i assumed most knew we were discussing white lettering. oyyyy!! posted pics however of white lettering out look great, i’m gonna switch this week...it’ll feel like i got new tires all over again! nice.

The only ones I would consider facing out would the the General Grabbers with the red/white lettering, and that would depend on the color of my Jeep. If you already have a fair amount of red accents or the red compliments your Jeep color nicely, I think you could pull it off with these:

As others have mentioned though, scraping rocks will mess up the lettering pretty quickly.
