White Rim Trail: 13-15 August 2021

This has been on my bucket list for years now so back in March I paid for and reserved the below overnight campsites for the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park. Right now it is just me and my girlfriend in the JL. If another vehicle would like to tag along, let me know by August 5th so that I can contact the permit office and update the Group Size. Average temps for Canyonlands NP in August; High 92/Low 61.

Enter @Schafer Trail Road (Island in the Sky) to Gooseberry

Aug 14, 2021:
Gooseberry to Potato Bottom

Aug 15, 2021:
Exit @Mineral Bottom Road/Hwy 313

You are in for a treat. My wife and I did it last year in September. The scenery can't be beat, and so few people can get permits that you hardly see anyone. The first picture is our camp at Gooseberry. I'm jealous.

If anyone can join in with Max I suggest you do it. Getting reservations is not that easy.

You're gonna have a great trip! Two nights us a lot of time. I did this in I e night two days and felt like I had plenty.

If this is as long as you're taking, be sure to research a lot of hiking trails a long the way.

Thanks for the info, yeah I planned from the get-go for either mountain biking or hiking along the route, hence the longer trip period.
