I never followed up. Sliders dipped in priority ATM. I’d hit up their site and contact someone to see if we can close out this query. I’m still curious about it.
I talked to them today and yes you can keep existing rubicon rails as long as you don’t get the rails that are 45 degrees up. Very nice people to talk to. I sent an email and didn’t get a reply — I called. I like talking to a person. Will probably order from them over the phone but shipping is expensive CA to SCand 8 to 10 week to get. I am not in a hurry

Lucky you. They said they would make a set for me at a 20* angle but I'd also like a the dimpled step plate the entire length.
Hey I know this is old but did you ever end up ordering the 20 deg. angle? If so could you post a few pics? They told me the 20 deg. is an option... I really like these just trying to decide on what angle to get now.

Sorry to drag up your old thread... but years later how are you liking them? Had any good hits on them? So far yours is the only JL I've seen with the flat version and it looks really good.

Trying to decide what angle I want... torn between "more clearance" and "more step". When I talked to white knuckle they said you lose about 1" of clearance with the flat versions. I'm assuming that's under the body though and not the frame rails? Have you noticed and clearance issues and do they sit any lower than the frame rails?

Part of me is not too concerned about the clearance. The reason I'm looking for sliders is because I'm on stock suspensions and I rub on stuff on the trail and want to protect the body, so I don't really have a lot of clearance along the side of the body anyway. The whole point of sliders is to be able to hit stuff and slide off of it anyway, right?
