Hey guys, new to the group, about to pull the trigger on a new JL, I’ve narrowed it down to these two. I am attaching both window stickers for comparison, I like all the extras that the Sahara has, blind spot, heated seats, leather etc,
The rubicon doesn’t have all of these actions, except the Navi and remote start, but it’s a rubicon, one thing i don’t know how I feel about is the fenders and top not being painted to match on it
this will be my wife’s daily and probably won’t see any serious off roading, Maybe some mud at the deer lease every now and then.
now i can get the rubí for 2k more than the Sahara, I think I am getting a fairly good deal on either vehicle, a bigger discount off msrp on the Sahara.
what would you guys buy?

Sounds like you don’t need the Rubi, and being your wife’s daily driver, she’d probably enjoy the Sahara’s options.

That’s kind of the way I am thinking, just saw that we can talk pricing, from y’all’s experience is 45.5k including dealer add ons ($1995) a good deal on that Sahara?

I’d say Sahara then too. If your taking off roading out of the equation than the only thing the Rubicon has over the Sahara is the tow package.

Yeah get the Sahara and you aren't giving up much if any off-roading by going Sahara over the Rubi...

This is the final price the offered. I joined the forum today and not familiar with real life pricing. Is this a good deal,

Don‘t settle get What you really want, I personally went with Sahara because we will not do a lot off-roading

My suggestion is the rubicon. You can add leather aftermarket. I know some folks love their Sahara’s but the ones that come see me typically have buyers remorse after learning what they lost out on vs the Rubicon.

i do see my self regretting not getting the rubi. I’ve been reading here and I am now considering getting a quote for a rubi with the options I want. Just not sure if that’s gonna be more expensive than on the lot inventory

We order a ton thru Demondtrond in Conroe talk to Neil carpenter. We send a bunch of folks his way too. If you can wait a couple weeks, I’d order exactly what you want. Usually 6-7% under invoice and 10-12% under msrp without having to play their games

YMMV but, since it's going to be your wife's daily driver I'd lean heavily toward the one that she likes best. The price is probably around 6% below dealer invoice which isn't bad at all.

Later,
Johnny

Her and I are on the same page, she’s also unsure on which one to get. Only reason why I am even posting here, lol.
