As for me, I never liked the JL OEM "Rubicon" graphics on the Crystal Granite Metallic because they were dark letters against a dark background. Also, I did not care for the JL font. I really did like the "Rubicon" font on my JK Rubicon so I decided to try to replicate the JK Rubicon font while choosing a color with better contrast to the body color. I also choose reflective lettering to be different.
Great point to keep in mind. The RUBICON sticker provides the Jeep with both improved traction and greater articulation. Why would anyone want to jeopardize real performance by removing it?...I would just delete the decal. It is kind of tacky imo. But you might lose some capability if you do.
I would have said that they were too large and thin. If that was the style that I would want to change to, the proportions that were on the TJ would look much better.OEM JL. The JK letters always looked too small/thin.
