Not a lot of validation here of what I think OP wanted to hear.

OEM vote here. This was my Granite Crystal Rubicon (sold it to get a white Recon). To my eye it looked sharp.

As others have said, your ride & make yourself happy...or...make your wife happy. Probably some good mileage in that decision!

I am probably too far into this mod to back out now, but I am just curious as to which "Rubicon" graphics you folks prefer.

As for me, I never liked the JL OEM "Rubicon" graphics on the Crystal Granite Metallic because they were dark letters against a dark background. Also, I did not care for the JL font. I really did like the "Rubicon" font on my JK Rubicon so I decided to try to replicate the JK Rubicon font while choosing a color with better contrast to the body color. I also choose reflective lettering to be different.
Oh God. the first one. a thousand times. Sorry.

Never too late to back out. Honestly I would just delete the decal. It is kind of tacky imo. But you might lose some capability if you do. Who knows, maybe your gears could degrade to 3.45s

Great point to keep in mind. The RUBICON sticker provides the Jeep with both improved traction and greater articulation. Why would anyone want to jeopardize real performance by removing it?

Add another voice to the chorus. The OEM looks good, the home made job looks... home made. On a big typewriter. It's just... bad. If I saw it running around, I would assume it was a Sport owned by a Poser.

OEM font, size and outline, custom colors if you want. The second picture looks a Rubicon decal on a Sport at a second chance used car lot.

OEM JL. The JK letters always looked too small/thin.
I would have said that they were too large and thin. If that was the style that I would want to change to, the proportions that were on the TJ would look much better.
