Whats up fellas, Im looking to do an exhaust mod for a deeper rumble sound but nothing too loud. Which exhaust do you have and thoughts?

I was looking at the Redrock axle back exhaust. Seems like a good price. Borla Is a but expensive for my price range.

any feedback or thoughts are much appreciated!

update: ended up ordering Red rock axle back from Extreme Terrain it will be delivered on Monday and will be installed next weekend. Ill try to post some photos and video

I have the AFE Mach Force exhaust and I really like it. Has a nice deeper tone, but not too loud and obnoxious.

Had the Rough Country dual exhaust before that, and the paint ended up peeling off. The exhaust tone also gave me a headache after awhile.

I have a flowmaster dual exhaust...around town it's great not loud just deep...there is a def drone at highway speeds though...... but I usually have the tunes up so no biggie for me.

I have read good things about the Borla touring...might be worth a look. It's currently at the top of my wish list.

Borla stinger on mine. Sounds great, especially with the doors off. Install was easy and it was a bit lighter than the original exhaust with resonator and muffler.

I had the MBRP stainless dual exhaust and was quite happy with it. Not too loud unless you get on it and no drone at cruising speeds.

You can’t make a deep rumble with a V6.
If you ask me (and I realize you did not), I’d suggest to spend your money on stuff that will serve a more useful purpose.

Then again, my advice is worth exactly what you paid for it. 😁

Another member and I had the same bolt-on muffler on our Wranglers. His was perfect and mine caused a drone. So just set your expectations. I eventually went with an offbrand turbo muffler and used a straight glasspack as a resonator. No drone and actually less expensive than a bolt-on muffler. A good muffler shop can work with you.

I went with this AFE axle-back and I'm happy with it. I didn't want anything to loud just high clearance.

I ordered the same thing but it's on back order. First I was told it would ship 2/27, now they're saying it ships 3/13. I don't want anything loud either, but I need it louder than stock for my MT. I like shifting at about 3500 rpm and this stock muffler is so quiet. Is there any droning? Are you driving an automatic or a MT? I'm excited to get it. I definitely, at the very least, like the high clearance as well as less weight, and the throatier aggressive tone.

Update: I actually noticed the exhaust I ordered is different, Its the muffler delete aFe Power 49-48070 with the black tip.
