Go aluminum, no rust and there is a weight savings for other things. RockHard and GenRight make very good products.
BTW, Powder Coating is way over rated. Many will live n learn from experience, BTDT.
AL is a great choice but be careful how it's finished if you live in a coastal area.

Minus the wings, the Mopar front steel is a pretty good bumper - definitely better than the two you posted. The rear Mopar is the POS.

I will be switching to the Rock Hard aluminum front and rear shortly. I like the raw aluminum but the wife poopoo'd it saying it did not look good with the sting gray.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
that JCR stuff looks good, nice mix of other innovative products, too. hopefully they'll be at EJS, I'd like to check em out.
I installed a JCR front bumper yesterday and the fit and finish was excellent. Very solid and the LED fog lights fit perfect. If time permits, I will be installing the JCR rear bumper and tire carrier today..

I have the Roam front bumper on my JLUR and an ACE rear bumper and stand alone tire carrier on the back. Both have excellent welds and the fit and finish is excellent. I like it when the winch is tucked between the frame rails and out of the way of the radiator.

I have the rear Roam bumper and tire carrier in the garage also waiting for my bud to get back from overseas for an install on his JLUR. We put a Poison Spyder front bump on his JLUR. That was nice also.

Why can't you just get better Fog Lights, with the money saved??

.
1. I’m a fan of not replacing that which works well for me. Fog lights are not a safety issue.
2. I have a CFO I answer to - my wife.
3. I’m a disabled/retired vet on a fixed income.

I have the Red Rock stubby bumper and like it a lot, plus it accepts the factory fog lights, prefer the stubby as I seem to always bend the full length bumpers ends...

I ran JCR on two different JKs and its good stuff. Currently in the process of installing Motobilt on my JLUR. Very impressed so far. Although I didn't buy LOD, they were in the running as well as Poison Spyder.

Define “better.”

Personally, I like the Mopar bumpers for the simple reason that they don’t make the Jeep look like a Mad Max movie prop.

personally i would be very careful with bumpers that sold at $3-400 ranged because there are made oversea and there could be fit and finish issues. i would look at the lod, warn, arb.

I like the Mopar steel front bumper. A few bolts and it can be a stubby or leave it full. Make it stubby only when you are headed to the trail. Keep it full in the city. Or, just make it a stubby and keep it that way. Or, just keep it full........ choices, choices.

I vote for the OEM steel option out of those choice. I do second the RockHard aluminum if you go a different route. You definitely need to decide on if you want to add a winch and how it integrates with the bumper.
