Time to replace my rear brakes.

What brake pads are people using besides the $150-200 mopar pads?

Pepboys has no stock that fits. AutoZone said they had a set that was completely smaller than the OEM pads.

Makes me wonder if parts that are listed as compatible (ie autozone) are not.

Rock Auto is showing a bunch of options. I've never had a bad experience with them. Tracking my corvette I chew up a good amount of rotors and pads and they've always been my go-to source.

This is what I ended up going with. Ordered the front and rears from extreme terrain.

I’m guessing you meant brake pads... I only changed the rear so far.. they do the job. Front pads are still the ones from the factory.

About 12,000... I’m guessing because of the limited slip and wheeling a lot..

Yeah, my JK went throught the factory rear pads like that back when it was new. I figured it was the traction control from lots of snow driving. I put Wagoner Thermoquiet pads on it and they went north of 60k.

I have installed a couple sets of brake motive pads/rotors. One on my trans am about 10 years ago and just did another on my DD. A lot of people on the LS1 boards have used them for years with great results.

They used to be very active on the forums and claimed to use OEM blanks. I have had 0 issues with them personally on my 500rwhp TA. Just as good as OEM imo and for a fraction of the price.

Pic of them on my TA
