The manuals will die soon I bet or at least be pretty limited but I doubt the two door will die. I’ve wanted to buy a 2 door Jeep and my girlfriend hates the aesthetics of them, she dislikes the 2 door bronco as well. She however likes the 4 door wrangler and loves the 4 door bronco. The 4 door bronco does look better than the 4 door wrangler but all the 4 doors look like their proportions are screwed up.

Hopefully! I don't like the fact that Jeep excludes the 2-door from some models.

Yes it is, here is mine. 2 doors are the real jeep from the beginning. 4 doors are like kissing your sister,(you just don’t do it).

Just ordered a JLR 6 speed. My second JLR manual and 4th 2 door standard trans equipped Jeep. If the standard and/or 2 door go away, it will be my last new Jeep.

My SO likes 4 door autos, ill let her buy the station wagons.

There is a certain “cadre” of Jeep folks to whom a 2dr is a “Jeep”. They buy ‘em to fill a certain niche/need. The 4dr’s are fine, but they’re just not “the same”. I’ve been fooling with small 4x4 vehicles since 1976. Went to Jeep after my beloved Scouts were no more-didn’t even look at anything else. It seems to this old man that I see about as many 2dr Jeeps as I ever did, even though they’re a fraction of the number of Jeeps I see everyday. I’m thinking the actual numbers of 2dr’s are about what they’ve always been-4drs have brought a LOT of folks into the family, but the 2dr cadre seems to continue as always. Jeeps (2dr) were (and ARE) a niche vehicle. I’d love to see what Jeep sales were about 1980 vs 2dr sales numbers today. Methinks the difference would not be all that great..

I have owned a TJ, JK, JLR. All 2-doors. I would not consider anything else other than a 2 door Wrangler. I take that back. I "might" consider a 2-door Bronco one day. I need to see and drive one first.

The plan now is to buy another JLR as soon as the 2022 order banks open! I would love to see a Hemi 2-door but I doubt it.

I don’t think the 2 door is going anywhere.
If one were to look simply at the financials, it may make sense for Stellantis not to make a 2 door once the JL finishes its run. 2 doors may sell as little as 50K units worldwide, so the investment to redesign is a tough return on investment.

However, it would be a huge hit to the image of Jeep, as most people still visualize Wranglers with 2 doors. It also creates the Jeep image that helps to let them charge high prices for redesigned Fiats with the Jeep logo.

A little looking and it seems I may be correct on actual 2 dr numbers. Stats tell me that Jeep CJ5 sales averaged a touch over 20k/year for its total production run. Jeep sold 201,000 Wrangler in 2020-if only 10% of them are JL’s that’s 20k 2drs (or the same as what the old CJ’s averaged😊

If they stop making the 2 door I will be able sell mine in a few years and fund my retirement

I agree with the sentiment that 2 door sales numbers are what they always were.
Most buyers of the 4 door are buying instead of an SUV or Minivan - they need/want the practicality but don’t want the dreariness of the other, soul destroying, options. These are “new” sales rather than canibalised ones.

I’d add a 4 door to the fleet when the Grand Cherokee dies on us (or the wife changes her Cherokee for a Grand) but it will always be an “also ran” for me and the 2 door will be with us forever.
