Where to tap for DRL's?

I have an 18 rubi that came with halogens. I currently have the DRL's for the headlights tapped into the yellow DRL wire on the pass side fender light... The problem is, when i hit the turn signal i lose my DRL's. And with these new headlights they glow blue for a few seconds when they turn back on...

So i need to find a place to tap into a constant power for the DRL's. I was hoping there was an easy wire to tap for this on rigs that came with Halogen lights but since it's a rubi, still has DRL's in the fenders.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have the factory installed, Aux switches?

I just ordered some add a circuits... worst case i'll tap the fuse box for power with the key.

I'm sitting here kicking around running the DRL's from both fenders to the shared harness for the DRL's in the headlights/fogs. But, that would make my DRL on the turn signal side not shut off... hmmm... i COULD put a diode inline on both sides though...

I tapped onto fuse # 58 (Front Pass Htd Seat). It only turns on at start position.
BTW LED headlights look great. Where did you get them?

Thanks guys. i have fuse taps on the way. I was just debating on those vs tapping into an existing wire.

It seems like a bunch of people have tapped the heated seat circuits. any reason for that vs the power outlets?

I got these on ebay. they call them "kong" style. ali express has them as well.

also if you have tazer or flashcal, just turn off “DLR drop-out” and your dlr won’t turn off when you turn on turn signals.
