After years of frustrating service experiences at my local dealer; finally wonderful service has ocurred. After debating whether to use my Jeep Wave services or not I decided to give my dealer (whom I have bought many vehicles from) another shot. Mind you every time they had messed something up in the pst they had fixed it, made it right. It is just time consuming and draining to have to check everything each time.
Crenwelge Chrysler Jeep in Kerrville Texas has hired a new service manager. I showed up for my appointment and was met by a gal who (I assume from looking at my license plate) knew I was expected. She led me to a service manager whose standing desk was in the bay area. He reviewed my order: "any regular service due and a five tire rotation", (in the past they never do a five tire, always has been four). "Anything else?" the young man asks. "If you find anything she needs give a call."
They did call to replace the cabin filter, which I did. When I picked up our JLURXR the tech came out to ask if I wanted to air all the tires to 32#. What? He said he noticed I had all the tires on the ground aired at 32# and did I want the fifth adjusted to match? "Yes, please," I said. When I started her up the tire pressure warning didn't come on? I haven't bought my mini as yet. The dealer service tech reset the tire pressure setting.
5 quarts of synthetic, 5 tire rotation, tires all at 32# instead of 37#. I'll be back. At least our local Jeep dealer is changing and I appreciate it very much.
