Where the heck are those Mopar tube doors?

Hey everyone. Like Pic18 I’ve finally gotten my tube doors in as well. I originally ordered the mirrors that specifically state they are for the tube doors as well.

I have good news and I have bad news.

GOOD: LOVE THESE DOORS. I’ve had Rugged Ridge and another brand (don’t remember) for my JK and they were great, these are just as good, but stepped up a notch in quality (mostly). The 2” tubes go hand in hand with the 2” stinger and rock rails. The hinges take a little finess to align when installing, but after my 1st door, the rest were done easily and quickly. The latches are great and one you adjust the bumper out a little, they close tight and don’t rattle at all.

BAD: Like I mentioned, I have the mirrors already and they don’t fit, mount or attach in any way. It seems there needs to be some kind of tube clamp with mirror mount available for these to work - but of course, there’s nothing anywhere for these. Without some form of tube-door mounted mirrors, there’s very few options out there to add mirrors. The options I’ve seen, I don’t like and I don’t want on my Jeep.

I’m hoping some of you sharp-shooters, insiders or @AllMoparParts.com can help everyone out with this issue.

Unfortunately it's official in that Mopar has no mirror solution when running tube doors and has no plans for a solution to this.

Thanks. That looks a lot better than the old latches some of the JK tube doors had. My old JK Rugged Ridge tube doors for one.

So here is a solution to the mirror debacle. Look for 2" UTV or Roll Cage clamp mirrors. I'll post pictures once mine get here and I have them installed.

Nice find! Do you suppose you are able to rotate the clamp 90 degrees so it could be mounted on the top (horizontal) 2" tube of the door?

Yes, watched a YouTube review on them and they adjust to different angled roll bars. Once they get here Thursday I’ll confirm they work or not.

So we have Mopar tube doors..... They look great. I like that they are all tube with no flat plates tacked on for a clean design......But where the heck are the half doors!????

I just picked up my tube doors. I'm really impressed with the quality and the latch mechanism is way better than my old JK tube doors. It's even a two position latch system. Now I am just trying to figure out how to put on mirrors like everyone else. Hope it doesn't take another year to get mirrors.
