Something that sounds technical, but it's not.

Has anyone tried out the JK McGard/MOPAR security door lugs on the JL? I’d like to use a keyed lug on these tube doors as it took a year for them to come in and would rather not have them grow legs if at all possible. :) thanks all!

SO I used a set of the McGard on the top lugs of each door but candidly think they might be useless. Unfortunately the hinge mount is completely like the factory and torx based. IE: a scumbag could simply remove the tube door from the hinge and simply purchase new hinges, I think for extended or questionable parking locals I might keep a simple short cable lock on both sides to lockup the doors to one another (JLUR) and the door frame pillar. Sucks to feel like I should do this but they took over a year to come in, were quite pricey and candidly are very simple (perhaps too simple) to remove. As weak as a cable lock might be it's an additional layer of security and more of an inconvenience to a potential thief. Not sure what others are doing but thought I might put this out there to see if anyone else is taking any precautionary measure to safe guard their purchase.

Thanks
