I can't seem to find the front diff drain bolt on my 21 JLUR XR. Is it supposed to be as marked in the photos? Do I need to scrape off the paint or something?

It should be right where the arrow is on the front diff. The rear is slightly offset.

Granted.....this is the twig (D30) under my Sport, but it should be here. Looks like they missed a machining process.

Here is a M210 drain plug skid picture.

I didn’t even know this part existed. Such a good idea. I was never keen on the drain plug being on the very bottom of the diff. The JK was on the side IIRC.

Yeah it’s a great idea. You can usually keep the front diff off the rocks but if you slide off, misjudge or catch something under water the drain plug is vulnerable. These cover the plug without the weight and clearance reduction of a full skid.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
@rent
Did you ever find it???
If not maybe they can get you a new one and we could work out a deal on that D44 front. With my current D30 I'd be glad to take a D44 without a drain :)

Just pop the cover? That will drain, but before you do draining of any type make sure the fill plug comes out or you’ll have a paperweight.
Good excuse to get a new cover though :)
