Where do you mount your hi lift?

Do the Dominion bar mounts work on a 2dr JL? Can't seem to find the info on their website..

I used the one from Dominion, but removed it because of the rattle problems and it was in the way of mounting a Power Tank.

I also had the Dominion mount. Removed it after going crazy with the rattle. I battled it for weeks. Zip ties, pads, tightening.

I cannot fathom so many people have 0 rattle. Seems completely impossible to me.

A different option for anyone with the Jeep JL Backbone. Used hood-mount brackets, and prevent rattles with zip ties. Zero rattles, and easy to get to.

Just installed a SuperTop Ultra. There is no way the Dominion mount will work with that Bestop. Maybe the Trektop is different.

I recently ordered the Go Rhino Jack Mount, which mounts next to the driver side door. Seems like a nice, clean option.

i was looking around on the net and found ( what i thought ) was a set of knobs that screws thru the hi lift jack and into the roll bar. theres a hole just below the bend of the bar . i cant find the webpage. also i just went out and took a pic of the roll bar. now i'm thinking theres no tread in the hole to screw in the knobs. i was thinking this would be a good clean and simple setup with put any other mounting brackets.

what hood brackets did you use and do you think is will fit in the 2 door jl. i'm thinking the brackets could fit in front of the roll bar ( as you are looking in from the back). i dont know if theres room to mount it on the rear inside fender.

Got these from @Northridge4x4 and they’ll mount to any flat surface. I’d recommend getting the measurements of your high lift (as they have several sizes) to see what kind of space you have.

Not yet. I inquired and here was the response:

“It is not. We have plans to develop a 2-door kit, but it will take some time.

If you'd like me to let you know when they are available, let me know and I'll add you to the list of interested customers.”

I wonder if the sprayer nozzles can be change a bit so they angle upward more and avoid hitting a hood mounted HiLift.

I made these brackets myself. They work great and I have no rattles after using a short loop to put the mechanism under load

My Jeep has an interesting rear overhang just for mounting my Hi-Lift.

I have the dominion rear roll bar mount and like it. I used some small carpet like material I found at Home Depot to stop the rattling. I also zip tied the bar in two places and am using the Daystar Isolator. I love it.
