When will production cease for the JK Wrangler?

Can anyone tell me if Chrysler will build the JK concurrently with the new JL for a while. I had heard that they were going to be produced concurrently and perhaps have the JK marketed under the "classic" nomenclature for a few months into 2018. I currently lease a 2015 which is over in March of 2018 and actually would prefer to order a new Rubicon Recon edition Unlimited Wrangler. If you have any insight, please let me know. Also if you have heard when the last chance to order a JK will be, that would be helpful also. Thanks.

I read that the JK would be produced until March 2018. The JL starts fall 2017, so a side by side comparison can be made

JL starts production this November and JK being produced until March 2018, so there'll be 4-5 months of production overlap. By the time the JL hits dealers it'll be December-January so figure about 3-4 months that you'll be able to compare them at dealerships back to back.
