Just picked up a new Jeep in Boulder, CO! It has the sky one touch, steel bumpers, brown leather interior, tow package and I love it! I just sold a 2004 Rubicon tj and am selling a heavily built 2005 Rubicon tj and a 700rwhp C5 Corvette to recoup about half of what this new Jeep cost.

I ordered a Warn Zeon 10S, Rancho diff skids and rear shock mount skids and Toyo Open Country AT3’s in 305/70/17 and will mount them on the stock wheels. That will be round 1 of mods and should keep me happy for a year or so. Then it’ll be lift time so I’ll be researching lifts and deciding on that in about a year.
My wife and I live near Estes Park, Colorado and we also have a house in Palm Springs, California we just bought in January. This means lots of road trips between the two places, and lots of adventures in between! I just finished a Canyonlands National park Maze district 6 day adventure a few weeks ago and my passion is off-roading to amazing campsites! I’ve done quite a few multi day camping trips over the last year in my Powerwagon (the Rubicon of Ram trucks) and I’m excited to start taking the Jeep on some adventures!
I’ll keep this thread updated with upgrades as I add them!

I live near some popular trails and since I haven’t even shifted into 4hi yet I decided to go and see how this stock Jeep does.
I aired down to 18psi and it was like driving on a cloud. But one spur I took is very rutted with large rocks and I scraped my front diff slightly on a large rock and later on landed on one of the belly skids coming down that same rock. Good thing I have skids on order.
I haven’t wheeled on such small tires in a while so I under estimated the clearance and didn’t take the best line because of it. I definitely will need to learn how to best wheel this Jeep, it’s not a Powerwagon on 37’s. However on 37’s this thing would be darn near unstoppable!
So now I’m maybe thinking the lift will come a little sooner than I planned....
