Hvnt seen a thread discussing spacers.
But regarding the fact that stock Rubi rims are 7.5” wide, if 9” aftermarket rims were installed with stock 33s, would spacers be required? Please refrain from snarky remarks.

If you go aftermarket, your backspacing is much less most likely and therefore there is no need for spacers. (Stock is 6.25" I believe and most aftermarket are 4.5-5" backspacing) The spacers are really only needed for using the stock rims and even then, some are saying that they still clear or they make a small adjustment to the steering bumps. More of a cosmetic thing as shifting the tire out gives a wider stance and that is what I like. But I opted for new zero offset 8.5" wheels and that should give me the look I want.
