My 392 XR will show up eventually and I already have the dealership planning on putting 37's on the XR wheels. I'm unsure of which tires yet due to fluctuating availability (which, yes I know this will have an impact on overall width).

I will probably put some Bora wheel spacers on to give it a more aggressive look, but I would like opinions on thickness given it's an XR - Will have the 17x8" wheel - and will have 37's. - What do you guys think? Anyone with an XR + 37's out there with spacers?

I want the stance to look solid & aggressive, not the guy you avoid on the road because you fear his wheels flying off

1” max. If you plan on actually flexing it out then no wheel spacers. 37” BFG KM3s run a little smaller and will rub less.

1.5”, I don’t like the 1” spacers as you will likely have to cut down the factory studs.

Without a lift and on 37s that will definitely rub. But I agree with cutting down the studs, forgot about that.

Thanks! Yep I agree on the studs, not touching those, so 1” was never on my radar.

I’ll have a little extra clearance with the modified Mopar lift, and I won’t be wheeling.
So next question, 1.5 or 1.75”?

I think at that point, it’s not about clearance or studs, it’s about which looks better. Anyone have any comparison photos or input —-> 1.5 vs 1.75?

I could be wrong, but believe your wheels will be 8" wide with a 5" backspace. So if you add a 1.5" spacer that puts you at 3.5" of backspace. You can look through the link below for an idea of what that will look like but keep in mind you have to subtract 1/2 of the difference in wheel width. So, if someone posts pics with a 9" wheel, yours will stick out 1/2" less (half of 9 minus 8).

so correct me if i'm wrong but fitting 37's (ko2's to be specific) on a rubi 4xe with no lift will have some rubbing issues? I would then need spacers correct?

Correct. 1.5-1.75” spacers. And probably a small spacer lift.

I forgot to mention that it'll be on the xr recon wheels and not the stock ones. it will still rub? I plan on putting a 2 inch spacer lift but also wanted to be sure it won't rub at full lock. thanks for the info

It should not rub on the XR wheels. No spacers needed. With the 2” spacer lift, I recommend the Mopar longer lower control arms ($60ish, worth it for caster angle). Also highly recommend 2” longer shocks or shock relocation brackets (shocks are preferable) and adjustable track bars so you can re-center your axles.

Hey MSparks909, what's your opinion on a 3/4 - 1" or 1.5" spacer lift as far as shocks or adjustable track bars being needed? ---- I'm guessing no on the 3/4 - 1" and probably on the 1.5

Not a suspension expert by any means but 3/4”-1” spacers would probably be fine. I’ve seen some people running 2” spacers only on the 392 but that’s pushing it IMO as far as stock track bars and stock shocks go.

I am pretty sure all Mopar wheels have pockets in the back where the factory studs could go. I am running 1.25" wheel spacers and they work without cutting anything.
By the look of the pocket depth, you could probably go as thin as 0.5" spacers. I am not suggesting anything just for your information.
