I know there have been a few threads asking about offset, it is something that I have a issue visualizing myself. How about if we create a thread dedicated to showing the various different offsets and show the full side view and also a view from the front or rear that shows how much the tires stick out?

would need to include:

Wheel brand and model
Diameter
Offset
Tire size
And Jeep model Rubicon/sport
Side view of Jeep
Shot down the side from front or rear.

Maybe this could help some of make some educated decisions on what choices to make.

I have done that, it gives you a pretty good idea but sometimes it’s better being able to see it on the Jeep In my opinion.

Looks really good. Do the wider tires rub at all?
I did not rub on stock Rubi.

I have lifted with Mopar and Accutune both. I'm thinking of going back to just 1.5 spacer lift.

When you say 5.72 Backspace... please forgive my ignorance, but is this something you added to create the backspace or is it the byproduct of the wheels and offset?

Ben is right. If you put the AEV wheel on a non rubi, they might not even be outside the fender's edge.
Exactly right. And the opposite happens when you look at post photos #5 and 6 wheel offset. Those wheels as shown will stick out farther on a Rubicon because of it's wider axles. Rubicon vs non-Rubicon = apples vs oranges.
I would recommend talking to AEV before ordering a set of their wheels. They might not work on a non-Rubicon model. All I know is they work with 37x12.5r 17 tires and a Mopar lift..

I still really love this Jeep. Great setup and the 5 spoke silver wheel calls to me. (Mopar 77072471AB Gear Wheel in Satin Carbon)

I currently have Method MR701 17x8.5 0 offset/4.75 backspace (30.2 lbs) with Milestar Patagonia M/T LT315/70-R17 OWL Tires (68.7 lbs).
