Friends,
I've been out of the Wrangler game for a while but purchased a new Willys 41. I plan to order new Black Rhino Armory 17x9.5 wheels with -18mm offset. I'll be putting on some 35x12.50R17 BFG TA KO2s. I'm trying to figure out approximately how much these tires will stick out. Any ballpark? Thank you!

Does the Willys have wide axles ? If so -18 will put 12.50’s tread about .7 in past XR extensions. It’s about even with my -1’s. Adjust accordingly if narrow axles.

Thanks. I'm not sure about the stock axles. I'm looking for a semi-aggressive look, maybe 1" - 1.5" past the fenders.

this 35x12.5-17 on 17x8.5 with +27mm so I would think -18 on 9.5-17 would stick out pretty far..

Relative comparisons are easy enough. From OEM +44mm offset to your new wheel offset of -18mm is 62mm, or about 2.5 inches further out just based on wheels.

Your tires are moving from 285/70/17 to 35x12.5R17. That's 30mm wider tires, but of course only half of that is on the outside (the other half sticks inwards). So 15mm, or about 0.5" wider.

So your outer tire edge in total will be about 3 inches further out than stock. Now you can go look at your Jeep and take a tape measure and see where that will be.
