Wheel adapters and 15" wheels

I just picked up a 20 2.0 turbo. I'm already looking at changing it up a bit. For wheels, I've always been a fan of the smaller wheel size, rather than the 20s..
A wheel that I really like is a 15x8 with a bolt pattern of 5x4.5

I found adapters that would work with my 5x5 pattern. I'm just wondering if this is a good option, or if I'm inviting different problems by not sticking with the 5x5 bp..

Measure your brake rotors and calipers, to see if a 15" wheel will clear them.
