And the onboard computer doesn't do that?
The onboard computer is EXTREMELY optimistic with it's MPG... There is no way for it to really be accurate as there is no way to accurately measure fuel flow, only calculated usage based on other sensors and conditions. The MPG calc is used only to give you miles to empty based on approximate usage.

*so it must be true

Right?? Mine is exceptionally fuel efficient when parked!!! My Suburban was also a shining star of fuel efficiency when parked!

New owner for nearly 2 months now.
2019 JLUR 2.0 currently with 4K miles. psi 34-35, A/C full blast every minute of every day (Florida).
I am averaging 14-15MPG and I only use 90-93 octane fuel....I went with the dealer to make sure they only placed high octane when purchased.

I am from Detroit and have a very heavy foot. Always traveling 80-100 on freeways. Compared to my JK and YJ. I think i am getting great MPG.
wait a minute isn't the 2.0 a Diesel and the last time i checked #2 Diesel is well #2 Diesel there is no 90 or 93 octane that is gasoline.

Wow, what D. thanks for endangering everyone else on the road too. You wanna hang yourself with that ridiculous halo around your avater have fun, but dont involve others.

And you obviously have no fng idea what you're talking about with your 2.0 and high octane.

Please lord and sweet baby jesus, let this guy be a troll. And then if he is take a shit in his mouth until breathing becomes, you know, ahem.... difficult.

2020 JLUR 3.6 w/6 speed. I just picked up my new Rubicon in Caldwell Idaho on Friday the 13th, and drove it home to the coast near the California / Oregon border. After I left the dealership Friday afternoon, I drove around rural areas of Boise and Caldwell for about three hours varying my speed and RPM's without shutting off the engine. Saturday morning I drove home about 550 miles with lots of elevation changes, some wind, a little freeway but mostly country two lane highway. Again I varied my RPM's and speed, did not use cruise control and I did have the A/C on. I averaged 20.4 on the computer and today when I calculated my fill-ups myself it came out to 20.1 mpg. There was a relatively short stretch of freeway with an 80 MPH speed limit, but mostly I cruised between 55 and 65 on the way home.

On a side note I am fairly tall and weigh 250 pounds and I really thoroughly enjoyed the trip home. When I arrived home ten hours later, I was almost sorry the trip was over, and was surprised how comfortable my JL was on the trip. I highly recommend the firm leather seats.
I am extremely happy with "Rocksie" and I wouldn't care if I only got 15 MPG. I didn't order it for the MPG.

Depending on the fuel that I get at Costco most of the time, I get between 22 & 24mpg. I have a light foot & running 265x70 r17 ko2 with no lift and mixed driving. I'm good with that.

JLUR 3.6 I get about 17-18mpg (hand calculated) with mixed city/freeway driving. Get 19-20 on hwy if the wind isn’t too bad and I keep it at 65-70. Mpg drops a lot over 70.

I took a week long trip from Kansas City, MO to Estes Park, CO and back with a lot of sightseeing in Rocky Mountain National Park
20190928_105243.jpg
and a little bit of 4 wheeling in 4Lo. The total trip was 1706.9 miles. I averaged 21.0 on that trip. I have an 18 JLUR 3.6L auto.

I'm getting 14-15 MPG, Driving city and highway,

Not sure if that's good or bad but I could drive it for 270 miles till I fill it again.

I think its decent.
