Spyderco Paysan slender, light weight, pivots on ball bearings so it opens as fast as an automatic with just the flick of the wrist. Only problem....it doesn’t have a bottle opener

but it’s a great EDC...long blade and scary surgical sharp.

Man, that looks like it would make a good chef's knife!

or an ultratech. Both are fantastic knives.
I have a custom griptillian in my shopping cart right now though. Benchmade has some cool options for steel, scales, and liners as well as blade etching option .

I switch between two primaries as my edc. A CRKT M16-01KZ and a Kershaw Cryo 1555ti.

I don’t have an EDC knife. But, I do have an ESEE 4 that goes into the Jeep for trips/wilderness. I like ESEE as they are listed as being made in the USA.

Zero Tolerance. Mine is the 0200ST, which is out of production and hard to find.

The 0350 is a little smaller, 3.25 blade vs 4.0, and the 350 has assisted opening.

US made, extremely durable, very high quality. Incredible ergonomics. Pretty affordable for a really good knife...about $140. I like serrated, but it comes both ways.
Got the 350ST as well...nice knife, but it's just not quite "stabby" enough for self defense IMO.

As the knife snobs will tell you....a folder is a knife that's already pre-broken in the middle, LOL. That said, most fixed blades are just too big to carry EDC, especially by the time you consider the sheath.

That said, Bradford makes some pretty nice EDC fixed blades. The Guardian 4 is one of my favorites & with CPM-S3V, it's TOUGH.

M390 is the normal steel they use for this....but I like the 3V better.

They also make smaller (and larger versions). The smaller ones are extremely popular EDCs and with the kydex sheath option, are very concealable, but I found them too small.

Carried a WE Knife 608N in CPM-S35VN for a while...

And just swapped it for a Spyderco Manix 2 XL in CPM-S30V. Really liking this folder.
