Underneath my dash I found this unplugged plug. Recently my engine and electronic stability control idiot lights are always on.

Getting a U1003 error code. I assume this is supposed to be plugged in and could be the root of my issue? Any ideas where?

A little more info... I also recently had an electronic braking system installed professionally, and part of that is the silver/gold cylinder to the left that attaches to the brake pedal arm. Wondering if the installer unplugged it?

125 views and no one... what's frustrating is that I don't see the receptacle end. Where does it go?

The problem is the aftermarket equipment you had installed, which is not something that many here have experience with. I would look somewhere around the brake or throttle.

Another thought is that the brake controller equipment you had installed plugs in where that plug went and the loose plug may fit into it, that's just a wild ass guess though.

Yes, actually I found the plug while removing my Tazer. So I can bring it back to the dealer to fix the ESC. But I didn't unplug that one.

Yeah I think I will call my electric brake installer and see if he can shed some light on it. I wouldn't think though that they would disconnect it for the install.

What color are the wires? I ask because it may be the trailer brake controller connector which is up under there.
