Whats the difference from the 2018 vs. 2019 JL Rubicon?

I was able to order the 2019 version of the dome light to put into my 2018. It made a huge difference with lighting up the interior.

They initially launched with ORP, but after a software update they all disappeared.

Uconnect stated offroad pages will not be on the 2018 and only available from 2019 onward.

Fairly positive, yeah....

I've had it since I picked mine up in October, and a cursory Google search found several links back here saying that it came via update on August 15th.

My 18 also had offroad pages. Not at pick up, but received with an OTA update, and had it for months before trading in.

Can you share details about these issues?

Had some faulty rocker arms from the factory. Flashing check engine light for misfires. Dealer mistakenly wanted to replace cylinder head. Engine was opened up and repaired, but I wasn't happy with dropping 60k on a refurb, and the dealer agreed. They traded me out at very near cost and FCA threw in an extended warranty to compensate for my loss. I ordered a replacement 18, which for some reason was never built, so had to wait on a 19. It's been about a year since I started this journey for a JL,...glad I'm finally in mine now.

2019 has USB and a 120v outlet behind the center console. If I remember right the 2018 didn’t have these.
