I might just be searching for this wrong, but anyone have a suggestion for tailgate window “rain gutter/deflector”? I have seen a couple Ebay listings for something similar to this, but wonder if it actually works and without obstructing the window when closed?

I went with the ValvoMax for my Jeep. Love the Fumoto valve and use it on a couple of my non off-road vehicles. I was a bit paranoid about a stick or something fouling the lever/valve on trails where I expect debris to be flying/prying in the area.

ValvoMax is not as elegant but definitely more robust.

I can say for this mod, I most likely will be replacing this or modifying is as the screw comes loose all the time, so either will replace or crazy glue/locktite in place.

I dunno. It’s “good enough” for me, seems solid enough and I saved like $40. I never sit in the back seat, it’s for two uses:

-when my kids are in the back with the dog they can’t use the fold down cup holders so these work

-when I’m alone in the car on long trips I like to put extra water back there so I can reach and refill as necessary, I can reach this a lot easier than the fold down arm rests

For those two purposes this is more than adequate.

Sorry do not have pics right now, but on the Rubicon with leather, the cupholder is on the back side of the center rear seat, inside the head rest. So if using the cupholders, only 2 people can sit in the back seat.

I have a cloth seat 4xe, I’ve got the dumb little slots.

Probably because of how the 4xe seats fold (bottom flips forward then top flips down) so we’ll see how well it works.

I have leather, but I added the cup holders for extras. Seat still folds down good.

I bought a silly little red Eject button for the 12V lighter plug but hated it. resides in a drawer now. Oh, this is the best Amazon things, not the worst?

Bought some blue tire valve stem caps to replace the black ones. Makes it easier to find the valve stems when airing up/down.

These things will restrict how far you can slide your front seat forward. It's not terrible but it is a restriciton none the less. Mostly relevant to 2-Door owners, obviously.

A point on a lot of this Amazon stuff. The vast majority can be found on Ali Express for a lot cheaper. You'll wait longer to get it though. I have never not had something come it. I did t have an 8.4 screen cover show up broken but I was refunded immediately after I told them.
Totally worth the wait for some things though. For instance the machined aluminum tail gate locking support thing. I think it was less than $20 CDN. Same with a bunch of the center console plastic crap.

And before you all pile on about Chinese stuff, Amazon is just a reseller platform. The majority of the things came from Ali Express or in bulk from Alibaba.
