I'm going to be taking delivery of my new Sahara this month. What is considered 'normal' regarding the various gauges.....engine temp, oil temp, oil pressure, trans temp, etc.?

Going to vary by outside temp, in stop and go traffic or highway, etc. Jeep engines, at least the 3.6 not sure about 2.0, run hotter than most vehicles. Volts will vary by charging or not and engine speed.

As Nerubi says, it varies with different operating conditions, but I can tell you as far as my driving goes, I usually see something like:
Water temp - 195
Oil temp - 195
Transmission temp - slow to build up and varies more than the others, but 160 to 180
Oil pressure - mid 30's
Volts - 14.6 initially, but goes lowers once the batteries get a little more charge back into them

If you have the Off Road Pages and can see all the gages together, it looks to me like they have engineered it so that the "Normal" range on the gages is when the readings are around the 12 o'clock position on each of the gages.

Anything more than 500 miles to a quart of oil consumption is "normal"

It depends on which engine option.

The gas gauge will go down relatively quickly.

As for the rest, as long as nothing is overheating, everything should be fine.
The post of the month!

I should have pointed out that I have the 3.6L engine - I don't know what is "normal" for the 2.0L

P.S. I love our new Sahara, I am sure you'll enjoy yours.

My 3.6 A/T JLU Sahara is:

Water 195
Tranny as stated slow to climb but 180-190
Oil Temp 195
Oil Press 30
Battery, this is tricky because what you see displayed in the EVIC is not the battery voltsge it’s the voltage of the battery withthe alternator throwing a charge to it so it can be as high as 14.4 and as low as 12.7

If you look at your gauges, straight up is "normal". Obviously, "normal" will vary whether the vehicle is hot or cold, or under a severe load, but the gauges are designed so that "normal" straight up on an analog gauge. If the value is super low or super-high, i.e. that which the engineers would consider "out-of-range", you're going to see it pegged on one side of the gauge or the other. All of the gauges give digital readouts too, so you can figure out what the ACTUAL "normal" value is (as posted by others above). I believe the values are in the manual as well..
Cheers!

Normal running temps for oil/coolant is
Oil-195 on road
210-220 off road
Coolant- 195 on road
210-220 off road

Manual transmission is the same but it hovers around 200 on road for the oil and coolant
These are just my observations from about 6,000 miles of driving on and off road with the m/t and 4K with the a/t

Anything over 230 should be watched closely and over 240 you should shut down and let the engine cool off. Seems like FCAs turning down the fan speed due to complaints had some effects when heavily off-roading
