Just did the same swap on my Sport S, you will want the metal skid, and the brackets that attach to the frame and the skid. Besides that it was pretty much a straight cross.Do I need to get anything to mount the Rubicon steel front bumper on my sport?

It’s useable without the skid I just would not want that much open space. You could leave the metal “bracket” type skid on it from your plastic bumpers but would look very open. Thanks unfortunately the bumper i found doesnt come with a skid so will look els ware for that saw some companies make them if i cant find a stock one
Where are these prices from? When I look it up I'm finding the skid plate about $10-$15 more and the rest of the items are more too. Here's a parts list form this thread of what you will need to install skid, list includes the skid plate.
I did not order the closeout panel, I just trimmed the original one.

Did you have any issues with the open box?Keep an eye out on Extreme Terrain .com open box. I got the MP Concepts Forged Aluminum Front Bumper (18-21 Jeep Wrangler JL) open box for $372 shipped as it was missing the fog light bezels ($30 for both from Quadratec). It includes the skid and everything needed to install it. Also got a borla exhaust for $275 off.
Some very minor scuffs (not scratches) on the skid but let's be honest. I am going to scratch the hell out of it anyways.Did you have any issues with the open box?
