If it's for your Recon...
SuperChips F5 or Diablo T2 Tuner
35" tires (and maybe wheels)
2-2.5" MC lift
Rock Hard Patriot rock sliders
Aluminum skids for engine and trans
Winch
HiLift Jack and inside mounting brackets

How do you use your Jeep?

No point spending on stuff you won't use and just weight you down.

I am starting to become a "less is more" as the reality is with every mod comes downsides and tradeoffs as well..... So it comes down to if you make use of Jeep in such a way that those tradeoffs make sense.
Ay-men.....!

As set of "Body Armor" trail doors is a must. Being that you have a 2 door, they will only set you back about $350.

Slap on a winch, travel fridge and pay down the loan. Definitely second-guessing dreams of larger tires and a lift after reading all the nightmare death wobble stories on this website.

Hmmm an extra 5K now? Full underbelly armor, beef up the Axles, RCVs in the front, Chromoly in the rear. New Bumper and Rock Sliders with the remaining!

If starting fresh from base Rubi:
-315’s (KO2’s)
-small lift (2” at most)
-spacers
-recovery/safety gear/tool
-onboard air

might choose some aluminum skids and potentially swap the stock sliders for the evo ones that flare out. But I don’t think it’s a necessity for what I do. My current setup is way overbuilt except for the maybe once a year time when I’d run a harder Moab trail.

I've been considering getting a winch and not knowing anything about it, I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos. It's crazy how many people are calling them wenches in their videos.
definitely get the synthetic rope instead of steel cable. Harbor freight has a great deal on winches...

Sure, but will the Horror Freight Winch work the day you really need it?

Harbor Freight winches are probably made by the same company that makes 75% of other winches, just has a different brand stamped on it...

I post in partial jest and partial experience. I bought a Winch from Harbor Freight and put it on my Sahara Rubicon Unlimited. I wheeled with it and never needed it until one day i did and as soon as I began to pull myself out it died. :(.

Now in all fairness that could happen to ANY electric motor on ANYTHING anywhere at any time. After that I swore them off....

Got to love electronics... I got my winch off of eBay, but it's a Rough Country 9500 LB PRO, I paid $400 shipped. Only used it once so far.
