I was picking up a part at the parts counter and the wife was looking around the showroom this weekend. They had this 2022 2 door.

Monroney attached.

They're wanting MSRP. I told them I can order one and pick up at Koons for way under MSRP. They said they'll match. I was just bluffing, (LOL) but what would be a great (reasonable)price for this Jeep?
Stranger things have happened in our relationship than me trying to get the wifey out of her BMW. LOL
Thanks in advance.

Depends. If you want it now you'll be paying what they want. A great price would be matching the several dealers offering 5-6% below invoice. Realistically, if they sold you at invoice price for an in stock unit I'd take the deal.

I recall someone posting invoice pricing on here. I'll look for it. Thanks.

Split the difference. Tell them MSPR is a good drive out price. TT&L included, no extended warranty or “protection plan” BS.

Off topic--but I wish the color of the Jeep in the photo looked the same IRL...

Current new orders discount is ~5-6% off invoice, I believe, which translates to 8-10% off sticker.

If you got it for ~6-8% off sticker, and it's got exactly what you want on it, I'd go for it.

That being said, TBH, if it's configured as you'd want it, and it's on the lot to drive off right now, then yeah, MSRP out the door (so discounted enough to cover TTL, etc), I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Custom orders right now are taking several months.

Thanks for the quick replies. The salesman has been texting me all morning. Sales tax here in NJ is approx. 6.7% and reg and title should be around a grand. I'm gonna float MSRP as an out the door price. :fingerscrossed:

Think about it like this…

You could drive it off the lot tomorrow, and have nothing but smiles on your faces! You won’t even feel the extra couple grand you dropped to get it, and who wants to wait 3 months for satisfaction that can be had now?! 😈

Wait, save your money and exercise a little patience. Good things come to those who wait. You don’t really NEED it right now do you? Think of all the charitable causes you could support with all the extra money you would save! 😇

Heh heh heh! We all know what you are gonna do! Just pulled the trigger already!! 😈😈😈

Here's his best offer; $49,500 and I pay tax and reg. after talking to the "sales manager" two/three times. He says he's on my side, but the dealership wont let it go for less. LOL. He doesn't know I don't need this vehicle. I told him to call or text me later in the week if the "dealership" wants to sell it. I'm sure some idiot looking to buy will pay MSRP otherwise why would their response be when asked "how much?" be MSRP?
