There was a nice 2018 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack with Shaker......

I actually bought the car because I wanted to doing some racing. However, not long after getting it, went to a local track with the wife, and we saw someone have a pretty bad accident, and the wife said "absolutely not". Despite letting her know I'd already upped my life insurance she really had issues with it, and in 20 years this is the first time she really got that upset. Car ended up sitting and sitting, and in the summer we went on a Jeep tour, and I was instantly hooked, rented a built up Jeep, took classes, and loved the people we met. The whole family got involved, and since it was an "us" thing, rather than racing, which was just me.....Well, I bit the bullet, found a dealer who gave me fairly close to what I had paid (which was not easy to do.) for a Challenger with still under 1k miles on it, and made the change. Don't see me ever looking back either....

Last vehicle was a 2017 Camaro SS.... I miss that car....

But... I also missed my old jeep.....

and the one before that....

and this one too even though it was a love hate relationship...

The vehicle I drove before our our Jeep was a 2008 Honda Odyssey. I still have the van for those times when my son's handicap accessible van needs maintenance. Although he uses a walker or canes most of the time, he uses a power chair at work and to drive his van. His 300+ lb power chair wouldn't fit in the Jeep.

2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. I liked the truck, but it didn’t have the balls for even moderate off-roaring with 4 adults in it, so putting any gear in the bed or weighing it down with steel bumpers was a joke. I like my stripped-down JLR much better.

Also, I’m like an hour from Slippery Rock, so what are these dunes about? Is it worthy of a meet-up, come spring?

I've been a Tacoma owner since late 2001 and a regular on Tacoma forums. Sad to see the quality of the 3rd gens nosedive like they did. Glad you got out of it and enjoying the JLR.

The Porsche and the X5 are both going now (steering wheel on the wrong side since I moved country) but the bike is staying!

Wife and I had a baby in May. Car seat plus 2 Newfoundland dogs made it nearly impossible to transport the whole family.

Lol, if you look closely you can see the black one peeking over the quarter panel. Also, not a photo in the Jeep, but here they are at the Outer Banks in NC where we drove on the beach with the Jeep

After having a YJ and currently a JK and the JL, my family has Jeep disease. We're picking this up for my son today. It is his first vehicle. He's 15 and not driving yet, but has a steady job and wanted a WJ to fix up and turn into an overlander. We stumbled across this 2004 with a V8 and only 103k miles on it. There is no rust, not one dent or door ding, and the paint and interior look brand new. It has literally been driven by a little old lady and kept in her garage, rarely seeing snow or salted roads! His plan is a 2 inch Old Man Emu lift with 31" BFG KO2's, some off road lights, and a roof rack that can hold tools and a spare tire. I like the way this kiddo thinks! His siblings are all talking about the Jeeps they'll buy and the mods they'll do. That's what happens when they grow up with these things!
