I'm getting posted to Uzbekistan in Sept, so hopefully I'll be crawling dust and rocks in the Tien-Shan and a dozen other ranges I've never heard of before.

The potholes in southeast Pa are pretty much like offroading.

When I can get a day away from the wife and kids I'll head to the NJ Pine Barrens.

I'm going to be taking it to Rausch Creek and AOAA in PA regularly. Hope to knock out the Uwharrie Jamboree later this year.
I really want to do Rausch Creek this year once my Jeep comes in. I was also thinking of doing Uwharrie as well - where in VA are you?

The piney woods, waters, and marsh of East Texas mostly. Will be my camping rig so over-landing and lumber roads, stream crossings.
I do some wilderness and disaster medicine so planning to build it out (interior mostly) for wilderness med, S&R type stuff. Mostly locating and treating for air evac stuff.

Now I just have to wait for it to get here .... "in transit" is deceptive.
