I believe the bolt up pattern is different between auto and manual t-case, so you can’t swap an auto t-case into a manual, but the rubicon gear ratios (4:1) and internals are the same.
I discovered this when I looked into replacing my 6 speed Sport t-case with a rubicon t-case.

Yes, I think that’s what the challenge is. We got the part number finally for the t-case . Now to try to find one 🙄
