What to set the JL tire size with the KO2's?

Can someone tell me what to set the KO'2 on the tazer to? It seems pretty specific on the reading options.

You need to measure the tires at your desired air pressure, and mounted on the Jeep.

I assume you are referring to the stock Rubicon tires mounted on your Sport? If that's the case they are 32.7", so set your Tazer as close to that as possible. Then download a GPS app on your phone, and verify your speed at 40,50,60,70 and adjust as necessary on the Tazer.

No dense at all, there are speedometer apps that utilize your gps to determine your speed. This way you can verify your speed after upgrading tires and adjust accordingly on your Tazer.

Edit: I've used Digihud speedometer before on Android.

Thanks! I have compared my Sport S with Rubicon tires to a roadside speed sign. up to about 45 it matched. This way I can check at higher speeds.

Hey guy, he gave you the BFG listed size for the tire. That is NOT the actual size of the tire inflated to OEM specs installed on the Jeep. It is closer to 32.0”. If you want it to be accurate...you need to measure the tire while on your Jeep under load.

You can also check/measure against your gps speed in the nav system if u have one

I use android auto on my 7" display and open the Waze map a lot. It uses the gps on your phone to give a display of your speed on that map. You could use that to check your spedometer speed against the readout in that map.

From personal experience.........using the mfr listed tire size will not be correct. Measure the actual height. I even ended up using 1/4" less than actual measurement to get correct speedo reading.

You have to measure the tires ON THE JEEP and use the closest Tazer setting to what you find.

My 285/75-17 KO2s are listed at 33.9" tall, but while on the Jeep with the load on them they measure exactly 33.0" tall. So, I used the 33.015" setting on Tazer and it's spot-on with GPS readings.

285/70/17 measured from ground to top of tire = 31.5 front, 31.75 rear. I used 31.75 and the speed is perfectly matched to the GPS.

Just measured my new rubi take offs and they are 32.125" at 37psi mounted. Set the tazer to 32.10". Tazer was showing 32.28" on the stock sahara AT setup.

Need to test it on the road now.

Edit: speedo was 2-3 mph off at 32.125", tells me that the un-mounted measurement is the correct one. Which explains why the oem size was 32.28". Probably due to ballooning at speed. Set it to 33" and it is very close now.
