I’ve got my 3 week old rubicon tires and rims with a couple hundred miles and I’m lost as to what to ask for them.. wanna make a little back but not trying to get rich, just a fair price. Any suggestions?

Used tires are tricky. Used wheels too. I generally sell them separately.

Wheels, $250 for 5. Tires, BFG KO2? $1,000 FOR 5 (IF They're 33S). 35S, $1,500 for 5.

That's what I'd ask. Surprisingly, used tires sell very quickly for me.

I haven't looked in a couple of years. Back then I found wheel/tire sets for $800-$1000. Search Craigslist and there are a lot of shops selling takeoff sets for $1500 or more. I wonder if they ever sell them. I wouldn't pay nearly that much if I only wanted tires, for a little more you could buy new tires, have them mounted and balanced, and get a warranty.

I sold mine last year, definitely use FB Marketplace. Listed for $1500, sold for $1300 in a couple days. This was my listing, added plenty of pics.

So we're in the same ball park then. I was thinking 250 for wheels and he would get 900 for the tires if they're 33s. Start at 1500, and you might be good .

I received $1,200 or 1,300 for my Rubicon take offs with Falken M/T with about 8,000 miles. But I included the plastic bumpers and some other worthless take offs (that’s not worth chasing $20 here and there over the next month or two).

I sold my brand new tires and rims off the Sahara for 500, it was almost impossible to sell it at the price I wanted.

I had a friend with a HA with the same 20s as the 4xe Sahara, he never even sold them if I remember it right.

One recommendation I made to him, IIRC, the tires were the same size as the stock ones that came on my Ram. As most Jeepers are looking for bigger, they're hard to sell for that, but the tires may be worth something if marketed to truck owners.

Most people are wanting to take off their small tires and buy bigger tires, that's what I did. If you could find a person with a stock Sahara who has worn out their tires and needs new ones, they might be a buyer. I didn't think I would have much luck selling my stock Sport tires so I traded them to the used tire store for the labor cost to mount my Rubicon tires.

I sold qty: 5 - KO2 c rated 35s for $1100, no wheels a couple months ago. I’ve donated the other takeoffs to friends and neighbors wanting to switch their factory sport etc to rubicon parts. FB marketplace
