Shawn,

If these are stock, the placard label on the edge of your drivers side door frame indicates recommended cold temperature pressure. If not, it's whatever is most comfortable to you within your tire manufacturer's specs.

You will find a large range of opinions here and it also depends on what you are doing.

running down the paved road?
running off-road?

two very different pressures.

assuming paved road ....... I run (Cold) 35/36/37-ish on my 285’s — stock KO2’s. I don’t sweat a one pound difference.

Some others here seem to run lower pressures. Try it out and see what you like.

Questions are rarely dumb, but answers on the other hand...

I ran my factory 285/70-17 ko2's at 33-34 on a 4 door Rubicon.

The best course of action, to really dial it in to your specific vehicle weight and maximize ride comfort and tire longevity, is a chalk test.

yet another way many say, get a length of 1"x1" made of anything solid (iron bar stock ,wood, metal plastic)at least 12" long. With your rig normally loaded, park a tire on it so you see air space on either side of the 1x1. Air up if you don't, air down until the air space is gone. That's you air pressure for that tire, repeat for each tire.
