what size wheels for 35 inch tires?

I ordered my JL unlimited. looking at getting the Fuel Assualt wheels. What is the opinion of what size wheels to get. Thinking about a 2.5 inch lift with 35 in tires

You didn’t mention what model you ordered. 35’s will fit on the stock 17 x 7.5” wheel but I would feel more comfortable with an 8.5” wheel or even 9”.
