Just ask @cosine he knows!
I am looking at purchasing the Method M106 Beadlocks 17X9 with a backspacing of 3.5" and an offset of -44mm. Will I have the "wider" look, I am looking for at least 1.25 or more of tires past the fender. Cheers!
That's a ton of offset, definitely get the wider look, I think I'd take that offset down a bit though. That will push your scrub radius quite a bit away from optimum. Something in the -10 to -20 would be better regarding overall steering performance and overall handling. But it's your Jeep and if you want that poke that's what you"ll get.

FWIW what tire size are you planning to run?

I do not have choice in the offset, it's a Christmas present being purchased from Northridge. I am planning on 35s first then moving to 38s when I get RCV axle shafts... I only have a Sport S (once delivered)!

Sounds like you've got some big plans, I assume gears are on the list too w/ 38s in your future. Look forward to seeing this come together.

That setup is likely around 3 inches of tire past the fender, possibly a little more. Stock offset is +44.

Of course, 5.13 with ARB lockers and UD44 up front! I did not get the Rubicon for this reason. Once I get my Jeep I will post my build thread!

sadly i dont remember the offset/back spacing numbers, but one thing i did ask for was a narrower rim to bulge out the tires more.

17x9 -12 offset. If 10 inch wide it will probably be -24. With a 12.5 or 13.5 inch tire they will stick out quite a bit.
Use the below calculator if you want to figure out how much farther they will poke out. Factory wheels are 7.5 inches wide with +44 offset. Then account for added tire width. Factory rubicon tires are 11.2 wide if I recall correctly. So 13.5 would add an inch poke to the wheel calculators number.

Here is factory wheel vs 17x9 -12. Plus the extra inch from added tire width (13.5-11.2/2) and you will be about 4 inches farther out then currently sitting.

I ordered wheels, 17x9 4.7 backspace and 0 offset. I'm assuming it'll stick out an inch from stock?
