Any chance someone could scan the instructions for the roam sidestep install? I just got mine delivered and there is no paperwork in the box. Just want to make sure I install properly
Sorry, but I just opened the box and there were no instructions inside either. Also, UPS did a number on the box (bastards). The steps are nicked up in a few places (pics tomorrow). @ROAM did do a good job of wrapping the parts in foam but I guess you need to encase them in carbonite to protect them from UPS...

You can go to this link below. Another forum member did a pretty good job explaining how to install the steps. Just scroll down to post 465 on this page.

EDIT / Update: There was a lot more damage on the drivers side running board than I initially thought. Again, I think Roam did a proper job in packaging. I think UPS is a damn cluster F.

just got mine. Thanks ttechris for the great write up. Still need to wire lights but that's tomorrows project. UPS did beat the shit out of the box. Like others said Anthony packed them great. The time it took to package the steps shows what kind of quality they are. the steps look great on. They took maybe 30 minutes to install. no instructions but like I said TTECHRIS made it easy.

Woohoo! Steps arrived today! Minutes later, a rainstorm started, with rain predicted everyday for the next week. Doh!

Steps are in great condition though, UPS didn't mangle them!

Well, I got the step on today. I haven't wired up the lights yet. I need some wire and connectors to get that out of the way..

Anyways, UPS really did a number on my drivers side step. Here are some pics..

They even screwed up some of the wires (which I admit is an easy fix)

However, after all of that.. I still love the look of these things. Returning them would be a huge PITA. I'm going to look into painting them or something but I think @ROAM should see what kind of F'ed up job UPS did. I'll stress again, ROAM did a damn good job of wrapping these things in heavy foam (as another poster showed).

Here they are on the Jeep:

Just finished wiring the lights. Dam those wires are small. Didn't use a relay just connected them to aux 4. Look awesome and bright even in day light.

Many thanks to @TTEChris for the writeup, I installed mine this morning. Finished less than a minute before the skies opened up again.

I took a bunch of photos and annotated them, and posted it over in DIY: ROAM Side Steps Install

Here's the finished product:
